softshirt Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 My friends and I made a movie, it was made using iMovie on a Mac. The teacher decided to wipe all hard drives so we only have 1 copy of it. Can ImgBurn do what I need. Perhaps use the files on the DVD to make a .iso, then I know I can turn the .iso into what I need.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Read it in 'Read' mode (yes, to an image files), then 'Write' it in Write mode.
softshirt Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 Well I just tried to "read" it, but it keeps giving me this error. "Unable to create or write files" is what it says. Am I doing something wrong?
lfcrule1972 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Can you post a copy of the ImgBurn log and the exact error message please ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Are you running Vista? You may have to point the destination file to somewhere you can actually save to - i.e. not the root of the drive.
softshirt Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 http://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=imgburnerrorzj9.jpg That is the error I am getting, and yes I am running Vista.
kevdriver Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 As well as what the Boss mentioned, you may want to start ingburn up with administration rights.......right click shortcut and choose to start with "run as administor.
