Vista Ultimate - ISO invalid or unsupported image format?

I've been happily using Imgburn with Win XP for a while, no problems.

First job to do on a new Vista Ultimate laptop (HD DVD ROM drive with DVD R/RW, CD R/RW combo drive made by Toshiba) when I click on the ISO file I get "invalid or unsupported image format" from Imgburn while in write mode.

I originally had the file on the desktop, but also copied it to the User-Download folder and tried again just to make sure.

The file itself is a Firmware update for a Toshiba HD DVD player, model XA2. Toshiba's instructions say to write the file to a CD-R. But I can't get past the "invalid or unsupported image format" error.

The file name is HD-XA2-2700N.iso

It is 40.5 MB in size.

The file is downloaded from the Toshiba web site as a ZIP file. I used Vista's internal unzipper (Extract File) to convert the ZIP to the ISO file.

Any suggestions for how to get this going?

Oh, there was no disc in the drive while I was trying to select the ISO file. I did put a CD-R in and tried to select the file again... no change in symptoms.

There's no filesystem in the ISO and ImgBurn expects to fine one - hence it's not supported.

This has been 'worked around' in the next version.

OK, thanks for the fast reply!
