pele17 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 what is the problem when it says unavable to recover TOC. very happy for reply!!!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 It means the drive can't initialise the disc. Try just ejecting + reinserting it, sometimes it works after a while. Only when the drive has initialised the disc properly can software then access it. You might also like to look for a firmware update for you drive as they often fix these kinds of problems. Make sure you're using decent quality (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden) media too.
pele17 Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 can somebody help with my update? I hope somebody can if you can i can thank you in 3 weeks!!
cornholio7 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 do you want help with updating your firmware or...?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 If you want help with the firmware you need to tell us exactly which drive you have. (You can find that info in the little window on the right of the main ImgBurn window) You can also check for updates yourself by clicking on the 'Tools' menu at the top of the ImgBurn main window, then goto 'Drive', then 'Check For Firmware Updates...'
pele17 Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 if someone can send a link to the update i have disk drive... toshiba DVD-ROM SD-9012
cornholio7 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 so you don't have a dvd burner then? that drive can burn cd's and read dvd's , so if you put a dvd writeable media in the drive , it will tell you it is unable to recover a TOC
