cutter Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 Hi all, I was browsing through the quick guides on using Imgburn and came through the profiles tab where you select the disk type of your media. I noticed that by default, the single layer is set to DVD-R/RW. I had never noticed that and used this setting for all my burns on DVD+R media. I have never come across any problems, either during burn or during playback; is there something I'm not getting here; should I change the setting to DVD+r/RW media or not? Thanks in advance. The size difference between the DVD-R and DVD+R ones is exactly what corny said - if you select DVD+R you'll need to go double layer ever so slightly before you would do if you used DVD-R.
