Hi all, I was browsing through the quick guides on using Imgburn and came through the profiles tab where you select the disk type of your media. I noticed that by default, the single layer is set to DVD-R/RW. I had never noticed that and used this setting for all my burns on DVD+R media. I have never come across any problems, either during burn or during playback; is there something I'm not getting here; should I change the setting to DVD+r/RW media or not? Thanks in advance.

there is slightly more space on DVD-R (4489MB) it could be a factor if your image is too big for DVD+R (4482MB)

change between the two and look at 'maximum sectors' as you change profile

Those values are only really used when you have too much to fit on single layer media.

The size difference between the DVD-R and DVD+R ones is exactly what corny said - if you select DVD+R you'll need to go double layer ever so slightly before you would do if you used DVD-R.

And this tab only becomes apparent when you build to an ISO (ninstead of to the device). If you build to a device, it'll know what's in it.
