Focus Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 He, I read through the forum before I started burning dual layers. Now that I started I have problems. Anybody any ideas? I use: SH-S162L Samsung burner (external) Firmware burner is up to date Verbatim Dual Layer (MKM-001-00) Write at 2,4x (only possibility) I burn with a mds file Problem with multiple dvd's. I check for errors in the image before burning. I usually don't have problem when burning, but when ImgBurn verifies the disc I always get an error around halfway through (near or during the layer change). When I play the disc (of the log) it plays, until it stop at I think the layer break. When I choose scene slection and play a scene near the end I can watch it. LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I'd have to assume your drive is just making duff burns. Maybe try giving it a clean?

dontasciime Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 maybe also trying checking the hard drive where the ISO is stored for errors and defrag it and maybe try a different usb port or check to see if there are any other programs accessing hard drive at time of burn if so stop them using the hard drive
