A disk erase button would save some mouse clicks. I would like to see an erase progress bar and it would look neater if the ImgBurn log window was docked to the main window and if you could hide it.

Sorry, posted in the wrong thread. I can't find a delete post button.

erase is there

the log is attatched as such , if you drag the gui aroung , the log follows. Pressing 'L' on your keyboard hides/shows the log

Rather the log has to be attached first to the main window leaving no space between them, then it will follow when dragging, otherwise both windows can be moved just as separate?

About erase progress bar - that came to my mind too, but I thought I could somehow live without it, cos after a few times average erase duration becomes clear & as this is some kind of "destroying" action there will be probably no need to know more details, cos this action can be easily repeated in case of fail (what exactly?).

(pressing "L" works!)

Progress on erase functions is shown whenever the drive reports it.

Just look in the status bar.

As it's so unreliable, there's no real sense in putting up a progress bar and just faking some progress data to keep people happy.
