Suggestions welcome on what i might be doing wrong.

Movie copied from a DL disc that runs fine in all my players - used DVD Decrypter.

1st attempt at burning DL disc went fine (log file below). Entire movies plays fine in PC.

However, playing in home theatre and laptop it stops roughly half way through.

I'm assuming its something to do with them not reading the second layer.

Please help.

Only Use DUAL LAYER + as you cannot set correct laybreak on -R DL

You got half the combination right by using Verbatim just not the -R DL ones

Thanks for the reply dontasciime.

Tried DVD+R with similar results on the home theatre...however did get better results on laptop.

Has to be something in the burning as the player can read bought DL movies.

A pressed DL disc is not the same as a burnt one. One working doesn't automatically mean the other will too.

You might like to double check your drive it booktyping the DVD+R DL's to DVDROM, I think that drive does it automatically but it's a good idea to check.

Does the DVD+R DL fail at the LB in the same way the DVD-R DL did?
