Dialysis1 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Doing a search showed 25 posts for XGD2DVD. Perhaps one of those can help.
spinningwheel Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I 17:43:57 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-D03-01) (Speeds: 4x; 6x; 8x) First of all, get rid of these and try some Verbatim DataLifePlus or Taiyo Yuden discs, yours are junk.
ken1978 Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Thx for the response! Everybody says that the DVD'S are crap but i burnt a lot of games about 70 and always with MemorexDL+ and never had problems not one!! Only since yesterday i spend a lot of DVD'S on this game but i only getting errors and the game is good several people confirmed that the game works.. Must i update my firmware for my "Optiarc DVD RW AD-7173A1" or use another verion of IMGBURN cause i don't think my problem is gonna solve when using Verbatims DVD'S??
spinningwheel Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Do what you're going to do. The media is crap and is the first place to start. I don't make this stuff up, I just try to point users in the right direction. I couldn't find a newer firmware at rpc-1, if there is one somewhere else and you trust it, try it also. There is no other version of IB available right now, and if you revert to an older one...we don't support it.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Saying you've always used Memorex media doesn't mean anything, it's the dye that's important. Maybe your other discs used a different dye. The current ones seem to be using RITEK-D03-01. You should also try burning at all the different speeds supported by the drive (in your case and with those discs - 4x, 6x, 8x). Some work better than others. Post your filter drivers list if you get a minute, it's in the Tools menu. (just press the clipboard button and then paste into your reply)
ken1978 Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Heey thx for the replies guys About the dye stuff the last 2 DVD'S i used are from Philips and they use Ritek right? I'm now burning another one on 6x speed the last 2 ones i burnt on 2,4 speed cause everyone always says that's the best speed you can burn on but i see that speed is not supported for the Philips dvds i use so now i try 6x When i'm ready i post my log where you asked for! stay tuned
ken1978 Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 My filterdrive list is empty?? =============================================== Filter Driver Load Order - ImgBurn v2.3.2.0 =============================================== Upper Device Filter: [None Found] Upper Class Filter: [None Found] Device: CD/DVD-ROM Device Lower Class Filter: [None Found] Lower Device Filter: [None Found]
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Fair enough, can't do much fine tuning with that!
ken1978 Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 I did everything you said but he does not copied the information in the clipboard
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Don't worry, what you did was correct, you just have a very clean list!
