Some internet reports says that this driver does it automatic, but it doesn't. i tried to burn a CD, and it have booktype DVD+R DL, and not the DVD-ROM as expected. Please, some one can help me?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 The screenshot doesn't show an error. Change 'New Setting' to DVDROM and click 'Change'. If it works, it'll work automatically when you burn. Post the log of an actual burn and maybe we'll get more info.
SkzBR Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 I Already tried it, changed and burned a DVD, and the booktype of burned DVD is DVD+R DL... if you see on screen, the driver doesn't report the booktype... :S
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Yes I know it doesn't report the current setting, that's why I made it say what it says! There's simply no way to query the drive and find out if it's going to perform bitsetting to DVD-ROM or not. Are you sure the booktype isn't DVD-ROM on your ImgBurn burnt discs? Show me the full log of a burn + verify. You can also insert one of the burnt discs and copy + paste all the info from the panel on the right when you're in Write mode.
