iffy525
Yeah, I've been having this problem recently... Whenever I try to burn an ISO file on to a dvd+r dl disk it starts then it just gets stuck at "Performing Optimum Power Calibration" or something like that. I've even waited an hour before and it was still at that same step. Thing is, I've burned an ISO file before onto a dl disk and it worked perfectly fine, same burner and everything. Here's a log if it helps: ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 - Log ; Sunday, 17 February 2008, 19:28:23 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 19:28:17 ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 started! blutach
Search and you shall find. We only recommend Verbatim 2.4x +R DL, made in Singapore. Media code MKM-001. Regards
iffy525
How come it has worked before? Also, are verbatims usually made in Singapore, or do you have to look around for them? Edited February 18, 2008 by iffy525
blutach
Memorex seems to be hit and miss. You've been a bit lucky before. Some Verbs are made in India and it is thought these are inferior to the Singaporean ones. Regards
LIGHTNING UK!
It would be good to know what drive you have too. Put one of your blanks in the drive and copy + paste everything from the little window on the right.

LOCOENG
No firmware update available for your drive so the best suggestion would still be to get Verbatim media and try again.
