converter Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Hi, I'm building an XP cd were I've incorporated SP2. So far everything went good but when I try to burn the ISO file I can't, After i Press "write" I get an error message that says "SendCueSheet Bug! followed by"CueSheeVariant: 13" I don't know how to correct the problem since I don't know what creates it. In Windows the file name says .iso but under type it says WinRAR. Does that have anyting to do with it? I think it shouldn't... Any suggestions would be greatfully accepted.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Post the log please. Oh and you might want to download ImgBurn again from the 'Mirror 7 - ImgBurn.com' link. You might have downloaded a version that was only up for a matter of minutes before I put up a fixed one. EDIT: Scrap that, I found the reason for the error. It still doesn't explain why the previous 12 attempts failed though! You must have a very old/picky drive or there's some other issue (which hopefully the log will show us).
converter Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 Here it is. But it doesn't really tell me anythin, hopefully you can make something out of it! Burn_XPsp2.log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Ok, there's no reason for that to be failing like it is. The image is as basic as it could possibly be. Please give it one more go but this time, press F8 before you press the Start button to enable I/O debug mode. Save that new log and upload it just as you did the last one. Thanks
converter Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 It didn't work this time either. for some reason i corldn't upload the file so i just copied and pasted: W 20:52:41 I/O Interface 'Debug Mode' has been Enabled! LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 You turned debug OFF before pressing start! I need it ON I don't expect it to work btw, I just want to get to the root of the problem.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Ok, you're in luck! I've dug out my old (understatement!) Sony DRU-500AX and it has the same problem. It wants a field set to value that's clearly invalid going by the MMC v2... v6 specs. I'll implement a workaround ready for 2.4.1.0.

dontasciime Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 which enclosure you got that in, or is it not a pretty sight ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Just some super old firewire/usb thing from svp with and extended power cable and normal akasa rounded ide cable on it - to aid with quick removal. Obviously there's no lid - the IDE cable wouldn't fit. The long pause before filling buffer was me in the debugger btw.
dontasciime Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 The long pause before filling buffer was me in the debugger btw. The 3 minutes was not what prompted the question about enclosure it was because of the Sony draw/tray as I ain't got an enclosure it will fit in You should have also seen me trying to fit that Sony drive and come to think of it a Pioneer A07_XLB to one of my Chenbro Gaming Bomb cases. It was like watching a 2 year old trying to fit the triangle into the circle and looking for the hammer.
DJShopper.net Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I Have the same send cue sheet bug "Cue Sheet Bug Variant 13" using a Sony DRU 510A CD/DVD burner on a Vista system. In case it is of any use I have attached the debug file. Have you any idea when the workaround fix will be available? Kind regards Mike Simpson Ok, you're in luck!
