veryauldyin Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Hi, I have been getting an error message when I attempt to burn a DVD. Stupidly, I didn't write it down and as I am at work, cannot retry the burn. The message says something along the lines of "cannot lock the drive for exclusive access..........." I have two drives, Plextor and Phillips (and use TY blanks), and both produce this message. Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers
veryauldyin Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 Sorry to waste your time. I did skim over the FAQ's and bailed out at the first FAQ on Media. My mistake!! I have just recently installed AnyDVD. Could this be the problem? As I'm at work I cannot check this out but will do so at the conclusion of the days toil. Cheers
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I doubt it. When you get the error box come up, do as the post in the FAQ says and use Process Explorer to find out which program is using the drive.
