Random Error

I've made 20 copies of the same file throughout the past couple of days, and every now and then I get this error message. (I just finished a succussful copy, and received this error message while making a second copy .... I need to make 70 disks!) I don't understand why it happens every few copies, and not with all of them. This error message appeared at about 57% through the verify process. I was able to hit the 'retry' button and it worked the second time I tried, however, it happened again at 75% of the burn, and at that point, the 'retry' did not work, forcing me to give up, and get your cute little "oh no" voice. (that cracks me up!) To add to this dilemma, for some odd reason, I've already found 'several' out of the 20 disks that did not burn properly, even though they were 'successful' burns. Yes, I actually watched 'many' of the burned copies to be sure they burned properly.

I've read all the topics on this, but did not see one that applied to this happening some of the time. (I apologize if it's there, and I missed it.)

I'm attaching the first error screen (that happened at 57% of the verify) and the log. I believe this log may be for both burns, the 'successful' one and the one that had error messages, and I'm not sure how to find 'exactly' where the error took place on the log, so I figured it may be helpful for you to see the entire log.

I sincerely appreciate your help.

It could be heat related and also your media is hit and miss anyway.

Get some Taiyo Yuden/Verbatim discs instead and give them a go.

After that you might like to consider upgrading to a newer/better/faster/cheaper drive.

Oh and pleeeease don't do I/O debug enabled logs until I (we) actually ask for them! A simple copy + paste would have done straight into the forum 'post' box, there's no need to make us download rtf files for plain text.

Thanks so much for your help, I'll try the better disks (if I can find them), and I apologize for giving too much information.
