Continual burn failures

So I'm trying to put some DVD images onto some dual layer dvd's. Got me a new burner (old one wasnt detecting and form of disks (even verbatum). For these 2 logs I'm using TDK dual layer DVD+R dual layers, but i have tried verbatums.

You've got DMA issues.

 

Change the cable going to the drive and make sure it's as short as possible - avoid connecting it to a jmicron controller if you can.

 

Set the drive as master / slave, don't use cable select.

 

Follow the DMA post in the FAQ to uninstall the IDE controller from device manager and reboot.

You also have media issues.

 

Change to Verbatims 2.4X, MKM-001s, Made in Singapore.
