herbrick Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I am new at this but did have a friend check it out who has used ImgBurn sucessfully for a while now and they could not help. Hope you folks can. I am using a notebook computer so when the tray cycles to verify at the end I manually close the drive and click on OK. then the tray opens again and once closed it shows as "medium not present" I have tried several of the discs that I made in two DVD players and several PC's but none will recognise the disc or tell me no disc present. Thanks for your time and hopefully a way to solve this issue. Rick 10:35:07 ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Your drive is producing bad burns on that media... so bad that it can't even read the disc itself. Get yourself some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim discs instead. You might also like to check for any available firmware updates.
