JasonFriday13
I have noticed that a cue file is created when reading a disc to a .iso image. Can we have an option to turn this cue creation off for .iso?
LIGHTNING UK!
It's only made when it should be. i.e. if it's not a mode 1/2048 image then it'll be created - but in those cases you should be using bin/cue anyway really.
JasonFriday13
Well, to me, it seems a bit pointless creating a cue for an iso, if the iso already contains all the required info. And I hate having to delete "duplicates" - two files with the same name but different extension (in this case, the cue file).
LIGHTNING UK!
Yeah but you have to remember that just because ImgBurn examines the files to figure out the correct format, other programs might not and will expect an ISO to be Mode1/2048. If you leave the 'Default Destination' on automatic, doesn't ImgBurn give the file a 'bin' extension by default?
JasonFriday13
Yes it does, I manually change it to iso. The images are ISO9660 only, MODE2/FORM1/2352 (Playstation discs). Edit: I should mention that ImgBurn is the only program I am using for all of my tasks. Edited March 31, 2008 by JasonFriday13
LIGHTNING UK!
Ok, just for you... Mode 2/Form1 images where the user has manually changed the file name from *.bin to *.iso will no longer have the cue created.
