Teun Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hi, I'm trying to burn a dual layer image on a single layer (I only need the first layer, so it's no problem for me), but I keep getting the same error when I try to burn it. LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 You can only do that on DVD+R/+RW media and you'd need to ensure the 'DVD+R Reserve Track' option is not enabled in the settings if using DVD+R.
Cynthia Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 If this had been posted yesterday, I'm not sure I had giving it a try. But it actually burns and plays ok.
LOCOENG Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I 20:11:17 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: OPTODISCR008) Cor.....I'd get some Verbatims too.

If you are talking about a DVD Video, then it will play OK, but only if no other IFO (which belongs on layer 1) is navigated to before playback occurs. For example, if there is only 1 VTS. You lose the BUP, of course. Regards
