I am a newb to the whole burning but when using dvdflick i let it run all night only to wake up to what i am guessing froze and not completed but yet if i close imgburn dvdflick says complete but there is nothing on the disk. The only (!) on the log is that C doesnt support ntfs. On dvdflick i have told it to goto D to do the work cause D is ntfs. On ImgBurn i haven't. Is there a setting i need or an area to change?? ImgBurn's Source is showing the correct location of the file though.it tells me to change to build so i built and then switched to write and ended up getting more problems.I am confused over this cause i have always used DVDFlix to do all the work. I havent had to manually do anything so i really have no idea what is the deal. I really love being able to use this program when it let's me but i have no direction in which to go. Falcon Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 If I may add... FAT32 should NOT be used with XP or 2000. You might oughtta wanna run the convert tool on that drive to make it NTFS. It'll be faster, more reliable, and more stable (Of course, then you should defrag it with a professional tool - Paragon Total Defrag is capable of rewriting and optimizing the MFT so it'll run even better)

The limitations are that you cannot have a file larger than 4GB with FAT32.( for those who dont know, a DVD is usually larger than 4GB) Most ACER brand machines still come formatted as FAT32 in the log file the letters on the left side mean, W = Warning , I = information , E = Error . so look for lines starting with E to find the real problm W 11:11:51 Drive C:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size. blutach Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 What you do now, is from the Windows desktop, press F1 and type in "Convert to NTFS". Follow the very simple instructions (the correct drive for you is C: - drive D: is OK) and in 5 minutes, you will have an NTFS partition which will be able to burn that ISO. Regards
