blutach
Well, your drive can't read back what it just wrote. This is not a good sign. Does the disk play / can you read it in another drive? Maybe your drive is on the way out. Check the usual suspects - cabling, cleaning disc etc. Regards
LIGHTNING UK!
look familiar blu? I 08:12:56 Source Device: [3:0:0] LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1673S JS0D (F:) (ATA)I 08:12:56 Source Media Type: DVD+RW (Book Type: DVD-ROM) (Disc ID: YUDEN000-T02-00) (Speeds: 4x) Seems this is what happens when LiteOn drives get old and stop playing nicely! Cynthia
I 08:03:55 Advanced Settings - Force HT: N/A, Online HT: N/A, OverSpeed: N/A, SmartBurn: Yes I read somewhere that if SmartBurn is to be enabled - also HT needs to be enabled, as SmartBurn depends on HT. Force HT is the same as forget the write strategy in the firmware and create a new one. So either disable SmartBurn or enable Online HT. I had/have the same issue with my Lite-On. LIGHTNING UK!
Try burning one having turned off the 'DVD+R Reserve Track' option in the settings. You probably won't be able to mess with hypertuning on that drive, it's too old. (That's why it says 'N/A' rather than 'No' or 'Yes')
Bollito
Hell, I didn't think it was too old Well, instead of screwing more DVD i'm going to buy a new drive... Thanks for the support! By the way when I burn DVD-R it burns them nicely, that why I didn't undestand why the errors with these DVD+R...also I've updated the firmware to the last one...
