larrys Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I want to burn an iDVD image file that was created for a duel layer DVD using ImgBurn. iDVD warns you when you select the create image option that iDVD will not set the layer break according to the DVD specification and may result in ... When I open the file in ImgBurn it warns me about layer break not set and do I wish to continue. I did and the burn went fine and the DVD played in a PS3 and a Samsung DVD recorder. My question does ImgBurn set the layer break? Is there anything that I should do or be concerned with when burning from an DL iDVD image file. I have to make a lot of copies and would like to know if this is sheer madness or if it should work fine with some/none procedure changes. Thanks, Larry
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 If you burn an ISO and it complained about the LB then you probably shouldn't have burnt it. Go back to the raw files (VIDEO_TS folder containing IFO/VOB/BUP files) and make a new image in Build mode.
