Dstruct Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) One thing I don't really like in ImgBurn: The "Cancel" button next to the progress bar. I mean that's the same icon as the "Shutdown" icon in XP's start menu. Bit confusing IMO. Why not a simple button which says "Cancel" or "Abort"? Edited May 7, 2008 by Dstruct
LOCOENG Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Confusing as in you might shut down windows instead of cancelling your project in Imgburn?
Cynthia Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I had the same issue before and I wrote to Microsoft and they changed the button in Vista. Thanks Bill! The XP version The Vista version
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It's been that way for about 6 years so my opinion is to leave it alone.

Night_Raven Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Frankly, I've never thought the button could be confused with the Turn Off button in the Start Menu. Maybe because I rarely shut down my PC anyway. Still, I think the Cancel button is fine the way it is.
blutach Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Agree - it is distinctive and obviously represents cancel. Just cos Bill changes doesn't mean we have to. Regards
