tammy Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I'm using imgburn 2.3 and when i'm burning to a dvd a message pops up asking if i want to download the new version 2.4. How can i stop this from popping up. I don't want the new version and it happens twice on every burn. Tammy
Cynthia Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, tammy! Change the setting for program update to 'Never' in the settings. Curious, why don't you like the new version?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Please don't tell me it's because of the new 'Ez-Mode Picker' screen! If that IS the reason, just change the setting so it doesn't come up. The changelog for 2.4 was huge so by sticking with 2.3 not only are you missing out on all the new stuff but you're missing out on all the fixes too.
tammy Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 Thanks for the help. I did download the new version but had problems playing the movie after burning. The video had vertical lines running through it so i just stuck with the old version. I did reinstall it again after your post and got the same problem. I then viewed the movie using my dvd player and the picture was fine. Do you know why I'm having problems viewing it on my computer. I viewed it with vlc media player, nero showtime and nero home essentials player. My windows media player 11 doesn't work at all with dvds. I do use imgburn with dvdflick.
mmalves Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Look for updated drivers for your graphics card. Also try playing those DVDs with Media Player Classic Homecinema.
