Hello,

Thank you for your attention, im dealing with this problem for several weeks now and it costs me about 7 Verbatim Dual Layers disks:@ the one who solves it is a god to me:d

Im using the pioneer 111d with the latest firmware(1.29) and Verbatim Dual Layers disks with Imgburn 2.3.2.0(always worked great for me) on Windows Vista im burning on 2x speed.

Im getting the same error message with the latest Imgburn version.

The only thing i changed recently is the IDE cable, that because i got an IDE 80 error message at the POST which means i had to change it with an IDE 80 cable what i did, ive got about 2 succesfull writings since than:s of the 9(which left me with 1 disk).

I changed the cable because i had some burning issues before.

I get an write error at about 70% which says:

Hello!

I had the same problem. Same error.

My dvd-burner is Nec Optiarc AD-7173A.

I use Verbatim dvd+r discs from Singapore, but earlier I had no problems with it! Today I've updated my imgburn version from 2.3.2.0 to 2.4.1.0, is it a reason of appearing of this error?

How I can prevent appearing of this problem in future?

Thanks.

Post your own log for starters.

And realise things do break for no reason. Maybe your have copied that much stuff on it, it has decided to say stuff you I need a rest.

Clean the lens buy a new writer but please enough of the previous version was OK just since I updated. It gets kind of tiring to see these posts even if it was a question rather than a statement.

ok, thanks, I understand.

I thought, that it is normally to post similar problems in one topic, I'm sorry if I'm not right.

but my log is similar to bassld's log...

I'll try to prevent this error myself.
