Okay so...I have been using img burn for a long time now and for a while the no seek complete error message would come on but I was able to eject the DVD near the end and it turned out fine...

Now at the end of each time I try and burn something, it says that it couldn't finalize the disk, and no seek complete.

Here is the log:

Oh and also I haven't changed ANYTHING since this started happening..the DVDs I have been using are the same, etc...

Thanks...

Hi and welcome to the forum, dayla! :)

I 12:58:09 Write Type: Incremental

Normally it should be set to 'DAO'.

Can you tell me how to switch it to DAO? I am looking around but can't seem to find where it would be changed...under write mode?

Ps Fast Reply!

Yes, the tab Write in the Settings. Then the dropdown list almost at the top of that window. Now it shows Incremental, select DAO/SAO.

Your burner is old and doesn't support the blanks you're using (notice it doesn't show the Media ID). You may have luck using Verbatim 8x or Taiyo Yuden 8x blanks.

A new burner is pretty cheap and would ensure good quality burns ;)
