Cynthia Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Might be that the DMA is in PIO mode, cables, BIOS, installed mother board drivers or the writer being out of order if you have ruled out the combination of media and firmware. Tried to use a cleaning disc if the laser head is dirty?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Just update the firmware anyway! Make sure you try burning at each of the 'supported' write speeds too - i.e. 2.4x and 4x.
mauro72 Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 The drive is Master Secondary Channel, (Ultra DMA 2 - Ultra 33), with cable provide by sony box drive. Recently i test ImgBurn burning a DVD+R with data and works excellent So the problem is the DUAL LAYER VERBATIM, i want to test with another DUAL LAYER MEDIA such SONY or RIDATA. Only one more thing... may be some interference with another WRITING program?
Cynthia Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Only one more thing... may be some interference with another WRITING program? You might want to post the installed filter drivers. Main Menu -> Tools -> Filter Driver Load Order
