I tried using DVDFab to burn a disc which launched ImgBurn.

I then tested the disc using Nero CD/DVDSpeed.

I got better results using Imgburn directly.

Using DVDFab to call ImgBurn:

Using ImgBurn directly:

My question is not about DVDFab.

My question is:

Is it possible that other programs that call upon ImgBurn make changes or send the wrong information to ImgBurn or did it just happen that one disc burned better than the other.

That one!

A quick comparison of the logs would probably show if dvdfab uses different settings. There's not much you can do via CLI only so unless it's passing it's own settings ini file, there would be no real difference between running ImgBurn with CLI arguments and running it without (i.e. directly).

Both discs burned at the same speed.

I haven't gotten a score of 90 in a long time. That's why I was curious. This was the first time I ever had a program call on ImgBurn. Maybe I'll try some more tests and maybe it's like LUK says that it just happened to burn that way.

I really have no need for any program to call on ImgBurn. Just thought I'd try it.
