how to write files with japanese characters?

Tried to search about this but didn't find anything so I'm asking:

How do I write files that names contain or are only in japanese.

I have about 7 Gb of lossless audio tracks that need to be written out to dvd but even if it's written out without error, a disk "seems empty".

 

(btw some guy told me that it's something with unicode and non unicode characters but he wasn't sure )

dug it up, good thing I remembered the disk name

I can't see any problem there, the disc burnt and verified just fine so the content should be accessible.

 

Try examining it in something like IsoBuster.
