Bucky Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 (edited) Hi LIGHTNING UK! Could you add Support for Layer Break Information from DVDFab Images? DVDFab stores the Layer Break Position in .ini Files. Would be nice to burn these Images without losing the original Layer Break. Edited August 21, 2008 by Bucky
blutach Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Why not rip in file mode with DVDFab and use build mode in ImgBurn. Really, I would expect Fab to be able to build a simple ISO. And your pic isn't showing. Use www.imageshack.us instead. Or just attach your pic here. Regards
Bucky Posted August 21, 2008 Author Posted August 21, 2008 (edited) Why not rip in file mode with DVDFab and use build mode in ImgBurn. I had a few Movies where Imgburn couldn't find any good Layer Break Position. Some Discs where Imgburn found a good one hang for about 1 Sec in the middle of a Scene. And why copy in File Mode and lose the LB Information, then choose a new LB that "could" be on the wrong Position, when DVDFab creates an .ini File with the original LB in Clone Mode? It's also a lot faster to just double click on the Iso. CloneCD use the same way to store the LB Infos, but with a different File Extension. (.dvd instead of .ini) LayerBreak=1353424 MORTAL_KOMBAT.000 MORTAL_KOMBAT.001 MORTAL_KOMBAT.002 MORTAL_KOMBAT.003 MORTAL_KOMBAT.004 CloneCD Images are supported in Imgburn. Why not DVDFab? And your pic isn't showing. Use www.imageshack.us instead. Or just attach your pic here. Should be fixed now. Edited August 21, 2008 by Bucky
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 At least 'dvd' is an extension that's likely to just be for DVD images, 'ini' is a little too generic!
mmalves Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Remember that you can use ImgBurn to create a MDS file (Tools -> Create DVD MDS File) and there replicate the info from DVDFab's .ini file
blutach Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Some Discs where Imgburn found a good one hang for about 1 Sec in the middle of a Scene. Then use "seamless layer break". Presto - no hang. Or use a different position where the scene is not broken like that - that's what the previewer is for. More than likely, you'll see the existing LB anyway, as it will be marked SPLIP = no. Plus you can refer to your ini file to see where the LB is anyway. Regards
