ImgBurn issue.

hey everyone, i've been using imgburn for awhile, but have come across a problem so i joined the forum in hopes for some answers.

imgburn had been running fine with DVD Flick for the past 4-5 months, up until these past few days.

normally, once it authors the dvd it creates the ISO image, opening up imgburn and successfully making an image; well not anymore. it'll open up but it just has been stricken with errors. here is my errorlog from earlier tonight, which i opened up and built manually with just a sample of The Love Guru to see if the problem would arise again, which it did.

that was the jist of it.

the other times that it would open with DVD Flick, it would tell me i have to many levels in my path, so i checked the box letting me go beyond 8 and then all the problems from above occurred.

if anyone could shed any light as to how i can fix this, and/or help me getting DVD Flick and ImgBurn to coincide once again, i would appreciate it greatly, thanks.

It appears to be using the wrong source path as I'm fairly sure it shouldn't be attempting to backup your entire 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner' folder!

Lots of the files in that folder will be in use and locked so no other program can read them.

This will be a DVD Flick issue (as it calls ImgBurn directly) so you're probably better off asking on their forum.

Of course if you're running ImgBurn manually then it's something you're doing wrong.

that was what happened all by itself, i can still build images manually and it works but the files go from 4.2-3gb to 4.5-6 gb when i do it manually, but i'll ask on their forums, thanks!

i'm having new problems.

imgburn tells me that it cannot run because ntuser is being run by another program and gives me choices to abort, ignore, or retry.

also, if i run it with dvd flick it tells me it cannot find my dvd-rom, but if i run it by myself it finds it fine.

the people on the dvd flick forum really haven't helped me out, so i'm hoping somebody knows what wrong with the above issues at least.

Go to DVD Flick's settings and untick the options generate ISO image and burn to disc using burner (can't remember their exact names :( ). Make your project as usual and DVD Flick will create a VIDEO_TS folder on the destination folder you've chosen.

Download and install the latest ImgBurn and, if the installer asks you if you want to keep your ImgBurn settings, answer No (the default settings will be applied and they work best for most cases). After doing this, please follow this guide to burn the VIDEO_TS folder generated by DVD Flick :)
