Motown Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 (edited) Hello, I am trying to burn an ISO file onto a blank DVD+R DL disk using ImgBurn 2.4.2 and it just seemed to hang endlessly during Closing Track (though the log's timeline does not reflect that delay), and now is doing so at Finalising Disc. I have left it running for now. Here is the log below. Any ideas what I should do next? Thanks!! I 15:34:22 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Verbatim, Verbatim, Verbatim, Verbatim. If you're not sure what I mean by that, take a look at *any* of the 3 million other 'I've got a problem with burning DL discs' threads on this forum.

Thanks, but the discs are Memorex - not sure I understand.

mmalves Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 If you use really cheap fuel on your car and it doesn't even start, do you also not understand why it doesn't work? We recommend Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks (esp. the 2.4x MKM-001-00 dye made in Singapore ones) because their quality is higher than all the other brands/manufacturers, and they work when many others failed

I guess the rest of this pack will just have to be used for data backup or something...
mmalves Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 You might have more luck using those blanks with other DVD burners, as your TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L doesn't seem to support burning them
