nospmas1939 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Hello all, I am a newbie here and also a newbie at DVD Authoring - so my knowledge is very limited. I d'loaded <DVD Flick> and tried burning the same video on 3 different burners and the results were almost identical to the attachment. Can anyone please have a look and 'interpret' what it all means? Trying to establish whether it is the quality of video, DVD Filck, the medium, or the 3 different burners. You assistance would be appreciated. Thanks and regards. ImgBurn_Error.doc
mmalves Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Please post the log from one of the failed burns (Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs)
lfcrule1972 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 As well as the log requested above can you also let us know what process you followed, how you used DVD flick etc ? Thanks
nospmas1939 Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Thanks for your replies <mmalves> & <lfcrule1972>!!. I will get back to you with your requests ASAP because I fly out in 2 days for about 6 weeks and I would like to solve this 'annoyance' as soon as I can. Cheers.
nospmas1939 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 OK, I tried it again and I got the same error msg....BUT, my only option is to <Cancel> the procedure because if I keep pressing <Retry>, it goes through all the 'aborted' tries in the ImgBurn window [of which there were about 75]. As soon as I press Cancel, everything shuts down and the <*.log> disappears. Is there a way to not allow the ImgBurn windows not shut down after an 'aborted' run? That should enable me to get that <log> file. Standing by.....and thanks!!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Help -> ImgBurn Logs. Although if you're doing it via DVD Flick it might be somewhere in the DVD Flick folder - as I believe it passes the target name of the log file to ImgBurn as one of its CLI parameters.
