cornholio7 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 try with either verbatim or taiyo yuden discs, you could also try at 8x, but the discs you have aren't good
allenlindley Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 i figured out the problem.it was my avi converter.i fixed the converter and it burned fine.
mmalves Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Give DVD Flick a try if you haven't already
lfcrule1972 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Keep an eye on those discs though - CMC MAGS are about the worst dye manufacturer out there, they might burn ok on some drives but I wouldn't vouch for their longetivity. For reliable quality burns get Taiyo Yuden (TY) or Verbatim dye (MCC).
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The problem was nothing to do with your converter, the drive just reset during the burn - probably due to a command timing out where it was unable to write to your media. That's where the Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs come in.
