mmalves Posted September 21, 2008 Share Posted September 21, 2008 Throw that disc in the trash and try burning another. Burn at 8x or 12x (look in the Device tab) for best results. If you're not using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks this error might happen again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chevelle Posted September 21, 2008 Author Share Posted September 21, 2008 (edited) Crap...this never happened before; I used a Memorex blank. Well...here's hoping the next one doesn't fail. I don't like having to throw out blanks. EDIT: I also have a problem with locking the drive for exclusive access. I have to restart my computer to start a burn, and even then I only have a few moments to find the files I'm about to burn, label them, and get the burn started before the drive is unable to lock.
