Petrena
This may sound crazy, and I don't know if anyone else seems to have this problem, but when I start to run img burn, it seems to take up alot of my memory, and it makes my computer freeze to the point I can't even type while I am burning a movie. Now I do have over 1gb of ram, and I do have a good computer, so I am wondering if I have it set correctly. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Night_Raven
Any specific numbers as to how much memory ImgBurn takes? I just checked how much memory it takes on my machine while burning and it takes ~70MB Mem Usage and ~80MB VM Size (in Task Manager). I don't consider that to be a lot and I can most definitely do almost anything else while burning, so I guess the problem is not actually in ImgBurn. Big Jim
Please post a recent log. Help --> ImgBurn logs Regards I'd have to agree. I've just downloaded ImgBurn to write some Blu-Ray discs... it was using up 103Mb to write a single (admittedly) 17Gb file. Does this sound right? Still, for a freebie, it's fantastic. I'll carry on using it even if it is a bit of a memory hog.
LIGHTNING UK!
You can change the size of the buffers to suit your needs. The program itself is about 24mb when first loaded.
