Dalila Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Hi, I recorded 5 DVDs (with write file/folder to disc option) on my notebook and everything went well. But when I put them on my home PC, the discs seem empty. Here are the some details (although the result is always the same, I am not sure that is the same DVD: now I am at work with the notebook...) LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 You're using cheap media the your drive can't read/burn properly.
Dalila Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 Thx, they are Memorex. I try on other notebooks here in office and all of them can read these DVDs... Only my PHILIPS DVDR1640P seems dosn't like them! On that drive I try to read them with IsoBuster and I can view all files in the ISO directory...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 The brand name doesn't mean anything. It's the dye that's important and they use 'CMC MAG. AM3'. CMC is pretty awful. You'd be much better off buying Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
