LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Where are the discs from? The ones from Singapore are the best. If your drive won't even burn MKM-001-00 discs without failing then it's probably time to invest in a new external burner - I hate laptop drives with a passion!

I dont know where they are ....but until now i wrote more than 15 dvd dl without any problem.....Now the problem is at the stage of closing disk

LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Looks like the same issue to me. Both times the drive errored out with the error 'Peripheral Device Write Fault'. It's just having trouble burning to the disc. Try cleaning the lense with something. If that doesn't work and you have the same problem with another spindle of verbs, you really should consider getting yourself an external drive.
cucoarac Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 Do you think it's possible that an entire cake of 10 dvd dl verbatim 2,4x can be broken.....because none of them didn't work...all broken....i tried imgburn and dvddecripter, diferent xbox 360 copies and none of them 10 din't work......I wrote also dvd-r verbatim 4,5Gb with wii images and all of them worked......i also tried to write on the DL movies.....didn't work.....any ideeas
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 So it was a 10 pack? Doesn't it say where they're from on the label or something? (perhaps near the barcode) I wouldn't call them 'broken', just that your drive's firmware isn't tweaked for burning them.
cucoarac Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 It doesn't say where they are made.....but the 10 cake before this worked perfect.....all was good....and also verbatim dvd-r....not a problem.....Now i'm afraid to buy another cake....Ah....by the way i tried to write one of the DL on another computer with another dvd writer and also didn't work...i got an error
