katan Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 (edited) hey, new to this software and to burning DL dvds I have a problem with burning DL DVD getting all kinds of errors I tried updating the firmware (currently using 2.1B), the aspi version to 4.7.2 (something like that) and a lot more things I found on the internet. yeah, i'm using a bad dvd dl disc but it worked one time so i think it can work again. one thing I remember doing is clicking on tools-->drive-->rezero and since then when I start the burn I get this message: W 12:52:48 Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity! W 12:52:48 Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter List I tried continuing the burn, when the burn gets to 50% I get this Message: I/O error Device [3.0.0]_NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG 2.1B (F:) (ATA) Scsi status: 0x02 interpretation: check condition CDB: 2A 00 00 16 3C 60 00 00 20 00 interpretation: write (10) - sectors: 1457248 - 1457279 sense area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00 00 00 interpretation: write error HELP!!!! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 You normally get that error there when the drive doesn't like the media you're using or you're not using a *BRAND NEW* disc - i.e. maybe you tried to burn to it before and it failed or something. Also please note the following thread: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Your drive is getting on a bit now too, you can't really expect it to handle newer media properly.
