hey, new to this software and to burning DL dvds

I have a problem with burning DL DVD

getting all kinds of errors

I tried updating the firmware (currently using 2.1B), the aspi version to 4.7.2 (something like that)

and a lot more things I found on the internet.

yeah, i'm using a bad dvd dl disc

but it worked one time so i think it can work again.

one thing I remember doing is clicking on

tools-->drive-->rezero

and since then when I start the burn I get this message:

W 12:52:48 Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity!

W 12:52:48 Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter List

I tried continuing the burn,

when the burn gets to 50% I get this Message:

I/O error

You normally get that error there when the drive doesn't like the media you're using or you're not using a *BRAND NEW* disc - i.e. maybe you tried to burn to it before and it failed or something.

Also please note the following thread:

Your drive is getting on a bit now too, you can't really expect it to handle newer media properly.
