Cynthia Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Looks as the burned disc could not be read (verify error). Low quality brand used? Burned to fast? Might give some more clues if you posts the log. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs

The rip that I did ended up showing up on my hard drive as a roxio file, whereas before - about a month ago it was not. ImgBurn does not bypass protections.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 No, it doesn't (nor does it say anywhere that it does). ImgBurn burns as-is, because that's what burning tools do. If you want a (re)compression / (re)authoring / shrinking tool then you'll need to find one designed for that purpose.
