Problems burning dl disks with TSSTcorp CDDVDDW SH-S222A USB device

I just bought a new external usb drive as usin sum old laptop without its own drive and havent been able to burn a game with this drive as many errors come up any ideas?

Use better media for DL, we only recommend Verbatim.

Did you disconnect the drive before the burn failed? Make sure it's connected directly to the computer (i.e. no hubs/etc).

na plugged strait in to a port on a laptop

Is it a USB 2.0 port?

 

You might have buy a decent PCMCIA -> USB 2.0 card before you can run the drive properly.

try a different use cable as well

 

also get wnaspi32.dll and if SPTI keeps giving Semaphore Timeout Errors switch I/O in ImgBurn and place Wnaspi32.dll into system32 folder or ImgBurn folder and try with that .
