Cynthia Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, crazybrain18! Tried to burn at 4x speed?
crazybrain18 Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, crazybrain18! Tried to burn at 4x speed? Well I set the write speed to AUTO, so I don't know what it chose. Hope that helps...
Cynthia Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 AUTO is if you have set a certain write speed with the feature 'Automatic Write Speed'. If no value is set - it will go for MAX speed. You can read about it here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4249
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Is the value to the right in brackets when you've got it set to 'AUTO' really not at all obvious? What do people think it is if not the speed?
Datore Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) I got the same error several times "tracking servo failure" on my PX-755A, I used it yesterday with same brand of media, and today I got that error, My solution was this: I used compressed air, and blowed into the recorder while the slide was out, then there was no "tracking servo failure" or any other error! I have burned a few DVD+R now without problems. Edited December 3, 2008 by Datore
