jmk888 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Hey guys, could really use your help here. I've been burning a great many DVDs lately, about 500 over the past few months, with little to no problems. Now, suddenly, my drive is really bugging out on me, or so I think. Disc after disc I keep getting an I/O Error; Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format. But I've been using the same discs and driver all along. I'm using Verbatim DVD-R's. Here's the log: I 04:00:03 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 04:00:03 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6000) I 04:00:03 Total Physical Memory: 2,095,936 KB - Available: 962,340 KB I 04:00:03 Initialising SPTI... I 04:00:03 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 04:00:43 Found 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Try cleaning it with a cleaning disc. Have you always been using that exact media? Try some Verb DVD+R's instead.
