Tom1
Hi! Downloaded the latest version of Imgburn and tried to copy img files from a disc. I started the img burn then loaded the disc and then i clicked on read and it gets stuck on "Initialising SPTI" or "Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices". I then sometimes have to reboot the pc. What am I doing wrong?? Please let me know. Thanks. Tom

Tom1
Hi! I tried to update the driver, it says it does not need to be updates as it could not find any better software then whats already installed for the driver. I started the IMGBURN, inserted the disk and clicked on read. Here is what the log says I 17:51:07 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK!
Take the disc out of the drive. Does it then say medium not present when you load it and switch to read mode? As a side note.... 48MB free memory, do you have lots of other apps open? You're leaving yourself a little short.
Tom1
It takes ages for the CD drive to open. I have to close the imgburn then keep trying to get the CD out and it happens to open after a while. The light on the CD drive stays green all of that time. It is a copy that I am trying to make of a Wii back up. Could it be that the Wii game is not being read. Do I need something like raw dump??? Please advise. Thanks. LIGHTNING UK!
Wii games are protected against casual copying. Your drive probably won't read them at all (hence the problem) and nor will ImgBurn. Conversations on this matter do not belong on this forum, sorry.
