LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Avoid using rewritable discs where possible, they're not as good/reliable as write once media. You already know the Verbatim Vs The World argument so I won't bother to mention it again
Bob'sMum Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 (edited) Hi Lightning UK, and thanks for the quick reply. I didn't know that about RW discs, thanks. I definatly have learnt about what discs to buy in the future Is it simply the discs that have caused this error message then? Edited January 19, 2009 by Bob'sMum
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Yes, although the drive claims to have written to the disc without a problem, it's then not able to read it back again - meaning it didn't burn it very well in the first place and the quality is very low.
Bob'sMum Posted January 20, 2009 Author Posted January 20, 2009 Hi LIGHTNING UK, Thanks again for your advice. I will buy some Verbatim 16x discs and start the process again, hopefully this will solve the problem Cheers, Bob's Mum.
