I can't get started. I have 2 dvd +_R burners neither of which ImgBurn recognizes.

I have exited DVD43.

I get an I/O Error saying the device is not functioning.

Everything else I try to do on these drives works just fine.

Log follows...

Any ideas?

Thanks, Mug

A driver or something is blocking all comms to the drives.

Use the 'Copy to Clipboard' button in the Tools -> Filter Drivers window and paste into a reply.

Personally I'd uninstall dvd43 too and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks, Lightning UK!

I uninstalled DVD43 as sughgested and tried again.

Same message, so I did the clipboard thing and results follow - although they mean nothing to me.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks, Mug

Did that - no different.

I've wasted enough time on this software.

I surrender.

I Uninstalled it.

I DO appreciate your trying to help me, though.

Delete these:

Lower Class Filter: sscdbhk5

Lower Class Filter: Afc

Lower Class Filter: drvmcdb

Lower Class Filter: PxHelp20

Then reboot.

I'd be amazed if any software that uses Microsoft's SPTI interface works. It's not like ImgBurn is doing anything special, your machine is just rejecting all the I/O calls.

Oh well, you can't please them all.
