Ken604 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Error_Messages.doc Hello Everyone, I am trying to burn an Xbox360 (.iso) game and I recieve error Finalise Disc Failed! Reason: Peripheral Device Write Fault Device: [1:0:0] Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850s 1.10(E:) (ATA). I have successfully burned 1 game, but now I am suddenly receiving this error when I attempt to burn the second game. I am using DL Verbatum Discs (made in Singapore), ImgBurn Write Speed 2.4x and Windows Vista. I was unsuccessful at manually closing the disc. LOCOENG Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 You might look for a firmware update for your drive, good luck with that. But honestly I would look for another drive as the Matshita drives are notoriously bad.

The drive had a problem writing to the media so the issue is somewhere between your drive, its firmware and the media you're using. Nothing else really comes into the equation. You could try using a cleaning disc on the drive in case the lense is a tiny bit dirty.
