I then installed it. well first when it restarted it say that a few things were missing file=window\system32\winload.exe status=0xc000000d missing my question is what did I do wrong? I removed it from my hd and went and redownloaded it again and used IMG and still the same thing .so it must be something im doing, any help would be appreciated... LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Have you verified your image is ok by checking its MD5 hash value? When you have, burn + verify it. If that all works, I see no reason for any issue. Are you trying to upgrade an existing OS or starting from scratch on a blank hdd? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This may sound strange to you, but you should check your pc's memory, with memtest86+ for example.
