ZetasCry Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 ok i had just got a new liteon dvd burner after my old one got messed up, so now i had like about 15 successful burns untill...yeah i sais until the verifying would fail. i used memorex dvd+r dl, tried to burn a xbox 360 backup and when i start the game it works up to the menu then it just freezes or gives me a error clean the disc. here is my LOG: ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LOCOENG Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I 23:55:24 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x) Your Memorex discs are rubbish. We only suggest Verbatim for DL projects. You may have had success with them in the past, but now you are seeing the inconsistency and incompatibility that plague the Memorex brand.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 And you're trying to burn at a speed (2.4x) the drive will ignore anyway because it only supports 4x, 6x and 8x on that media. Try burning at 6x or 8x, it might mean you don't have to bin the remaining discs before you start buying Verbatims.
