I have been burning discs with ImgBurn on the same brand DVDs up until today... I'm using Dynex brand DVD+R's and suddenly I can't get any decent burns... The discs cant be read by my laptop or the DVD player that I havent had problems with up until now. The first problem was a movie I tried that came with the VIDEO_TS folder. I tried taking it directly from there to the DVD and it didnt work. Thinking it was the movie, I make it into an ISO image and mounted it with DAEMON tools and it played just fine. SO I tried burning from the ISO that I knew worked fine... THAT burn didnt work. (drive tries to read for over 5 mins in laptop and loads for 5 mins in DVD player to get no disc error). Then I tried with another movie to see if it would do the same thing. Same problem but for whatever reason it did in fact play on the laptop but still not in the DVD player.

Could it be the DVD brand? I mean prior to this, I burned over 12 DVDs using discs from the same stack without problems.

The log is from the DVD that played in the laptop but not the DVD player:

Hi and welcome to the forum, DoktorD1313! :)

If you open up the burned disc in Windows Explorer - can you then see this strucure - with two folders and a lot of files in the VIDEO_TS folder?

Alright I'll give that a whirl... If it helps any, the first time it messed up the disc, I had the write speed on max, after that is when I tried setting it to a lower write speed
