cripz Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 hi i have read some of the articles about this problem but dont know how to fix mine. (dont understand the imgburn log) log: //****************************************\\ ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 - Log zondag, 08 februari 2009, 15:56:31 \\****************************************// 15:10:41 ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 started! 15:10:41 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) 15:10:41 Total Physical Memory: 1.047.852 KB - Available: 689.620 KB 15:10:41 Initialising SPTI... 15:10:41 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... 15:10:43 Found 1 DVD-ROM, 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 2.4.2.0 is the latest version, you need to update. What don't you understand exactly? First it burns, then it verifies. Both were successful so what is the problem you're having? The log doesn't show one.
cripz Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 thats the problem. my xbox says its mixed media and cant open it. will upgrade to new one now and try again. will post when its done and tested
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 From what I recall, people use a certain LBA for the layer break - which is normally done automatically by loading the .DVD file and not the .ISO. Where is your .DVD file? As such, there's no problem with what ImgBurn has done, the issue is with your source files.
cripz Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 there was no .dvd file, but i allready burned discs without, and they work good. just burned a new one with the new version of imgburn and it has the same problem: mixed media. i have the img from a forum where other people say it works. is there a way to get the .dvd file other than asking the uploader? log from last burn: (same as the first) 14:25:24 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! 14:25:24 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) 14:25:24 Total Physical Memory: 1.047.852 KB - Available: 701.296 KB 14:25:24 Initialising SPTI... 14:25:24 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... 14:25:43 Found 1 DVD-ROM, 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Try making your own images, then you'd get the dvd file. This isn't an xbox forum so if you can't search and find the info for yourself (it's all here), you're on your own.
